Back In My Day
Hello friends😊.
I am glad to meet you in my second Blog.
In this I post interesting information about my favorite places I have visited so far.
I have traveled a lot since childhood. Some of those places are still my favorite places that I can never forget. Know about them too.
I went to "Mihintale rock" hill as an educational tour when I was studying in 6th standard.
I went to "Mihintale" rock as an educational tour when I was studying in 6th standard. It was the first mountain I climbed🗻. I climbed with my friends.Mihintale Rock is located in Mihintale City, Anuradhapura District, North Central Province, Sri Lanka. Mihintale Peak is 311 m (1,019 feet) in height. Mihintale Rock, Mihintale Temple, and Viharaya are all located on the same site as Mihintale Rock. Mihintale Rock is a sacred place among Buddhists since there is a very well-known historical story related to the arrival of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Therefore, it is known to be a sacred Buddhist religious place among Buddhist pilgrims. This location appeals to both locals and tourists.
The next place I visited was Kataragama. This is a trip I took with my family.
Kataragama is one of the most celebrated places of pilgrimage in Ceylon, sacred alike to the Buddhists as well as to the Hindus.
The temple of Kataragama is an important sanctuary for Hindus and Buddhists. The temple of Kataragama is dedicated to the divinity with six faces and twelve hands, which is known as Skanda-Murukan or Subrahmanya among the Hindus.
The places I have posted so far are the places I visited during my school life.
In my university life I have been to many places with my friends. The first place I visited in Trincomalee with my friends was the Thirukonashwarar Temple. It was a very happy day with me and my friends.
Thank you and waiting for my next blog...
